Slow-Cooker Collard Greens with Ham Hocks

Ingredients
- 2 smoked ham hocks (1 1/4 lb. total)
- 2 (14-oz.) cans chicken broth
- 2 (1-lb.) pkg. prewashed chopped fresh collard greens
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion (from 1 onion)
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions
- Add ingredients to slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 9 hours.
- Remove the ham hocks and any remnants of bone before stirring the greens.
- Cool ham hocks and thoroughly remove all fat and bones.
- Return the meat to the slow cooker. Stir the ham back into the greens, serve.
