Cookie Icing Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 egg whites

Directions
- Sift powdered sugar and cream of tartar into a bowl.
- Beat the egg whites into the sugar mixture until it thickens. This usually takes about 5 minutes of beating until you get a smooth icing.
- To add some character, mix in food coloring or top with decorations if desired.
- Ice sugar cookies with the cookie icing and enjoy!
